Laura Arnett, 67, Colorado City, passed away at her home on Friday, June 16, 2017
She was born on December 26, 1949 in Colorado City to L.J. and Dessie Barnfield Lynch.
Laura spent her life as an LVN working in the Mitchell county area most of her life. She was a woman who was all about family, making sure to be the best wife, mother, daughter and sister a person could ask for. As a nurse she learned patience and how to take care of everyone that she loved. Laura was a very free spirited feisty woman, if you wanted to know what she was thinking you didn't have to wait long because she would tell you, as she was very vocal and opinionated. She was also a very loving woman, not afraid to show her love to others, or to give away something she had if someone she cared about needed it.
Laura is survived by her husband Michael who she married in Tyler on November 29, 1975, as well as by her children Amie Arispe of Colorado City and Brandi Martinez and husband Charles of Lubbock, and by her grandchildren Daniell White and husband CJ, Robert Arispe, Johnny Arispe, Anastasia Hawkins, and Jayli Hawkins, and by 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Alfred Lynch and wife Dana of Colorado City.
She was preceded in death by her parents L.J. and Dessie Lynch, by a brother Jerel Lynch, her sister Dessie McCullough, and by her brother-in-law Billy McCullough, and by two great-grandchildren Lailynn Arispe and Giovanni Arispe.
A memorial service for Laura will be held on Wednesday, June 21st at 11 am in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel.
