Lola Gaddis, 82, Hermleigh, passed away peacefully at the Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, with family by her side.
She was born May 28, 1934 to Gerald and Frances Murphy Tutwiler in Black Oak Arkansas.
Lola was a very loving and sweet woman who always made sure to put her family first, as family was the most important part of her life. Anything she ever did, she made sure to have family with her. Lola Gaddis, 82, Hermleigh, passed away peacefully at the Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, with family by her side.
She was born May 28, 1934 to Gerald and Frances Murphy Tutwiler in Black Oak Arkansas.
Lola was a very loving and sweet woman who always made sure to put her family first, as family was the most important part of her life. Anything she ever did, she made sure to have family with her. In her spare time Lola enjoyed dancing, camping, fishing, playing Bingo, and traveling with family. After finishing high school Lola met her husband James Eddie Gaddis and became a stay-at-home mom raising 8 children and a few of her grandchildren.
Lola is survived by her children; Charles Gaddis of Hermleigh, Robert Gaddis and Teresa Rich of Midland, Jimmy Gaddis and wife Shirley of San Angelo, Trina Wright and husband Toby of Snyder, and Carolyn Kinney of Denton, and her four legged son Scooby. She is also survived by 2 sisters Grace Blassingame of Olney and Judy Ramey of Snyder, as well as by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Eddie Gaddis Sr. and by her children James Eddie Gaddis Jr., Lyndon Gaddis, and Frances Sawyer, as well as by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
A funeral service for Lola will be held on Saturday, November 26th at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home at 2pm. The family will be present at the funeral home for a visitation on Friday, November 25th from 6-8 pm. The burial will be private and at the discretion of the family.
